The late 50s and early 60s were a great period for automotive design. especially for Britain, Italy and Japan

If only they’d make near exact copies today (only with reliable engines and electrics and also five to 10 percent bigger, as they were very small, tight cars).

There are three U.K. companies and one New Zealand company making new copies of the Jaguar E-Type, some vastly over priced but others, not so bad.

I think this is my favorite Corolla sedan design.

My favorite weird Datsun, which you almost never see in the S tates anymore (because rust).

My mom had a Civic CVCC almost identical to this one. It was great, except for the vinyl seats in summer. And winter.

I seem to like boxy and/or angular cars from this era.

Bonus! A Chinese crapcan.  I hate that Great Wall steals every car design they come up with, but for some reason I really like the name Voleex.

One of my friends in high school had a painfully yellow Civic wagon from that generation.  I loved it.
